Job summary

The Hampton Inn Western Ave is currently seeking an experienced Hotel Operations Person to support housekeeping, maintain cleanliness in public areas, assist room attendants, and help ensure guests have a positive experience. This role involves delivering supplies, stocking closets, and providing friendly, proactive service to guests.

It also includes cleaning lobbies and corridors, responding to guest requests, aiding with meeting spaces and events, and upholding safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist room attendants with cleaning and preparing guest rooms.
• Deliver linens, towels, amenities, and housekeeping supplies.
• Collect and transport dirty linens to the laundry area.
• Stock housekeeping closets and storage rooms.
• Clean and maintain hotel lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, meeting rooms, and other public spaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish assigned areas.
• Remove trash and recyclables from public areas and back-of-house locations.
• Ensure entrances and exterior areas are clean and presentable.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for extra towels, pillows, blankets, and amenities.
• Assist guests with directions and general inquiries.
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude.
• Assist with meeting room and banquet setup and breakdown as needed.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies throughout the property.
• Support special events and operational needs.
• Follow hotel safety and sanitation standards.
• Report maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards immediately.
• Properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
