Hotel Duval Tallahassee, part of the Schulte Hospitality Group, is seeking a part-time Night Auditor. The role balances the night shift, audits daily ledgers, and delivers personalized hospitality while maintaining accurate financials.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in accounting or night audit, familiarity with PMS, and a diploma. Work hours include nights, weekends, and holidays with opportunities to grow within a expansive hospitality portfolio.

• Set the Team Up for Success: Prepare arrivals, review reservations, anticipate guest needs, and organize critical information for the morning team.
• Own the Details: Reconcile transactions, balance daily reports, complete night audit procedures, and ensure financial accuracy.
• Think One Step Ahead: Identify potential challenges before they become problems and help develop solutions before the next shift arrives.
• Deliver Exceptional Hospitality: Provide warm, personalized service to our overnight guests, handling requests and unexpected situations with confidence and professionalism.
• Be the Overnight Difference-Maker: Serve as a dependable point of contact for guests while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and professionally managed environment.
• Make Every Handoff Count: Communicate clearly with the incoming team so they can begin each day informed, prepared, and confident.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Audits the daily guestledger
• Handles all end-of-day accounting functions including posting daily room rates and roomtax
• Ensures accuracy of all charges toguest folios
• Averages sum of revenues of all accounts receivable from food, room andother departments
• Acts as front desk clerk, checking guests in and out, bookingreservations and resolving guest issues
• Make cash drops in accordance with proper cash handlingprocedures
• Organize the Front Desk area so that the A.M. Front Desk staff can properly prepare for theirshift
• Monitors hotel security camerasystem
• Ensures that lobby is well-maintained, properly lit and with music at proper volume
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Any other duties asassigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 1 year in Accounting or Night Auditorrole
• Knowledge of PMS
• High School Diploma/GED
