Job summary

The Knickerbocker Chicago is seeking a reliable Night Auditor to ensure accurate daily revenue and guest satisfaction while coordinating with front desk and food & beverage outlets.

This overnight role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong guest service, and familiarity with PMS systems to support a smooth night-by-night operation in a lively hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• Familiarity with PMS systems (e.g., Opera) is a plus.
• Education (Optional / Adjustable) High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Audit and balance daily revenue, post charges, and process settlements.
• Reconcile and balance accounts, run reports, and correct discrepancies.
• Prepare daily reports including Guest Ledger Summary and Daily Restaurant Summary.
• Ensure files are accurate and systems are reset for the next day.
• Assist with closing procedures and coordinate with front desk and F&B outlets.
• Provide excellent service to guests and staff overnight.
