Job Description

Creates and ensures a fun-filled and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount. Responsible for the accurate check-in and check-out of each guest.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Computer usage skills required
  • Strong interpersonal skills required
  • Experience in data entry and dealing with the public is required
  • Must be a team player and have a professional appearance
Essential Functions
  • Prior experience within the hospitality or related industry is preferred
  • Ensure all guest contact is courteous, informative, and thorough
  • Post charges, settle folios for individuals, groups, and due-outs communicated through Housekeeping
  • Receive cash, credit cards, and comps in payment, obtaining proper approval and authorization
  • Maintain an operating bank, render bills, and issue change
  • Provide reservations for Casino/Hotel guests, including restaurants and special events
  • Ensure the timely delivery of messages, mail, and packages left for guests and departments
  • Control safe deposit transactions
  • Work closely with hosts to ensure all complimentary and amenity offerings are provided as agreed
  • Resolve guests’ problems/complaints promptly, courteously, and efficiently
  • Maintain knowledge of Hotel, Community, and Special Events to provide superior service
  • Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic demeanor at all times
  • Audit the work of other GSRs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands
  • Work independently
  • Stand for 6-8 hours
  • Move between floors via stairs or elevator
  • Respond to visual and aural cues
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Stoop, bend, twist, push, pull, lift (minimum 25 lbs)
  • Manual dexterity for data entry and handling objects
  • Tolerate areas with second-hand smoke, dust, loud noises, and bright lights
  • Work nights, holidays, and weekends
