Stonebridge Hospitality Management in Austin, TX is seeking a Maintenance Attendant to support hotel maintenance operations, ensuring all facilities and equipment function properly and are safe for guests and staff.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, repairs, monitoring utility usage, and adhering to safety procedures. Candidates should have basic knowledge of building systems, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of maintenance systems including refrigeration, heating, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Familiarity with safety procedures, including lockout-tagout.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
• Assist with maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks for refrigeration, heating, plumbing, A/C, and equipment.
• Monitor utility consumption and report issues.
• Ensure maintenance projects meet specifications and deadlines.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures including lockout-tagout.
• Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas as scheduled.
• Log equipment findings and report safety concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain security procedures and handle emergencies as needed.
• Support event spaces and hotel equipment maintenance programs.
• Keep workspaces and storage areas clean and organized.
