Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Worker for the DoubleTree by Hilton Montgomery Downtown in Montgomery, AL. You will support the Engineering team with daily maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, and property upkeep to keep guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, and back-of-house areas safe and functional.

The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building tasks, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to take ownership of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and departments.
• Assist with basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building repairs.
• Inspect and maintain guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, and exterior areas.
• Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
