Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our hotel operating smoothly, address repairs, and support preventive maintenance across guest rooms and public spaces.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, with a focus on safety and guest experience. Expect physical work, weekend availability, and collaboration with various departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in general maintenance or facilities management.
• Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance across public areas, guest rooms, meeting spaces, back-of-house facilities, and grounds.
• Repair guest room amenities, such as televisions, phones, fixtures, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs and daily equipment checks.
• Maintain hotel aesthetics with painting, furniture fixes, and flooring repairs.
• Assist with pool operations and ensure safety compliance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and secure keys during emergencies.
• Document maintenance activities and keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
