Job summary

The Hampton Inn Albany - Western Ave/University Area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the maintenance team. You will perform repairs and preventative maintenance to keep the hotel safe, attractive, and efficiently operated, reporting to the Chief Engineer/Engineering Lead.

Responsibilities include completing requests, suite care, exterior property maintenance, safety compliance, and coordinating with housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or related-field maintenance is required.
• Proficiency with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry is needed.
• English language skills required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and preventative maintenance as directed by the Chief Engineer/Engineering Lead.
• Completes maintenance requests and supports suite care and exterior maintenance.
• Maintains safety and professional conduct; communicates with housekeeping and other departments.
• Operates maintenance tools and equipment and uses radios and phones as needed.
• Works flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
