Job summary

Shamin Hotels Master is seeking a hotel engineer to troubleshoot and repair hotel equipment, facilities, and HVAC/electrical systems. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect facilities, and coordinate the maintenance staff while adhering to budget constraints.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent) with customer service experience; a related bachelor’s degree is preferred. Valid driver’s license and strong attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience acceptable.
• Bachelor’s degree or technical training in hotel management or related field preferred.
• Strong reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair hotel equipment, facilities, and systems including HVAC and electrical.
• Perform preventative maintenance and regular inspections.
• Coordinate maintenance staff and manage repairs within budget.
• Maintain records and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Train maintenance staff and supervise day-to-day activities.
• Inspect guest rooms and common areas for quality and safety.
