Job summary

StepStone-Hospitality-Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with hotel upkeep, perform routine and minor repairs, and support facility operations to ensure guest comfort.

You will service HVAC components, lighting, plumbing, and other systems, respond to guest requests promptly, and maintain safety, quality standards, and professional conduct. A solid high school education plus basic math and computer skills are preferred; CPR/first aid training is a plus, and foreign language

Qualifications

• Must have good mathematical and computer skills.
• English language proficiency to communicate with guests, associates and vendors.
• High school education and relevant training and experience preferred.
• CPR training and first aid training preferred.
• Additional language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining the hotel, perform minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
• Replace air conditioner filters.
• Tend air conditioners, cooling towers and boilers to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests.
• Maintain standards of quality guest service.
• Attend required meetings.
• Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
• Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
• Conducts themselves professionally at all times; sets standards for all associates.
