Job summary

Atrium Hospitality is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the Huntsville Embassy Suites at 800 Monroe Street, Huntsville, AL 35801. This full-time role offers a pay range of $17.00 to $17.85 per hour.

You will help ensure guest comfort by performing scheduled preventative maintenance, completing and documenting work orders, and troubleshooting electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and pool systems. Ideal candidates bring at least 6 months of general maintenance experience, the ability to lift 25 lb

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience.
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care.
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances.
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
