Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related general repair experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, or general repair skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization and time-management abilities.
• Ability to walk/climb stairs about 50% of the time.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Work a flexible schedule.
• Wear maintenance uniform and nametag at all times on property.
• Perform routine maintenance throughout the property, including painting and floor cleaning.
• Perform minor HVAC repairs or replacements.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; coordinate with GM for orders and supplies.
• Perform minor repairs to room furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Regular preventative maintenance.
• Greet guests and acknowledge them in guest rooms and public areas.
• Respond to guest repair requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain indoor pool facilities.
• Assist other staff with laundry and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Report lost-and-found items per hotel procedures.
• Meet brand compliance standards and QA.
