Job summary

The Leta Santa Barbara Goleta, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Goleta, CA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to preserve building systems and equipment. You will join a team responsible for repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, prioritizing work orders, and collaborating with department managers while maintaining hotel safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification a plus.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on maintenance experience in hotels.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs in multiple maintenance disciplines (carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, electrical).
• Prioritize work orders to minimize guest disruption.
• Respond to guest room calls as required and assist other craft workers.
• Adhere to hotel safety standards and complete preventive maintenance tasks.
• Support the Fire Alarm Response Team and participate in hotel safety programs.
