The Standard, High Line in New York, seeks a skilled maintenance technician to uphold the building’s electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs. You will perform preventive maintenance on building systems, respond to service requests, and coordinate with engineering leadership to keep the hotel running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a solid background in electrical work, plumbing, and carpentry, plus familiarity with safety procedures and codes.

Formación

• Understanding: read, comprehend, and carry out instructions according to established procedures.
• Organizational Skills: work efficiently, utilize multi-tasking, prioritize tasks.
• Hygiene and Sanitation: Adherence to uniform, grooming, and personal hygiene standards and expectations per SOPs.
• Punctuality: Adherence to posted schedule and attendance at mandatory meetings.
• Responsibility: Personal comportment in line with Standard, New York policies, standards, and expectations.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes and blueprints contexts.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Physical Requirements: lift at least 50 pounds; endure variable temperatures and conditions.
