Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to support our property operations and ensure guest comfort. You will work closely with the Chief Maintenance Engineer to handle daily work orders and oversee mechanical system upkeep.

The role emphasizes routine repairs, safety compliance, and cross-department collaboration to maintain high standards of service and facility integrity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on general maintenance experience (Hotel or commercial building experience preferred).
• Practical skill in basic plumbing, electrical work, drywall, painting, and carpentry; HVAC knowledge/certification is a major advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine hotel maintenance and repairs across the property.
• Address guest room maintenance requests promptly and courteously.
• Assist with scheduled facility inspections, equipment servicing, and supply organization.
• Maintain clean work areas and adhere to safety guidelines; report hazards promptly.
• Collaborate with housekeepers, front desk, and management to ensure smooth hotel operations.
