Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Sedona is seeking a part-time Hotel Maintenance Technician to keep our property safe, comfortable, and guest-ready, performing preventative maintenance and basic repairs.

Based in Sedona, AZ, this weekend-only role offers two 8-hour shifts (8:00 am–4:00 pm) and pays $21 per hour plus travel discounts. You will inspect facilities, test equipment, handle repairs, and coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office to ensure guest satisfaction while following safety procedures.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

This Hotel Maintenance Technician position is available on a part-time weekend only basis. You'll be working weekends, 2 days per week from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Team members must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed and are expected to adhere to scheduled start times.

As a part-time Hotel Maintenance Technician, you will help ensure the hotel's interior and exterior remain properly maintained and in good working order. You will complete daily property walk-throughs to identify maintenance, safety, security, and loss prevention concerns while proactively performing preventative maintenance and maintaining accurate records. Throughout the day, you will test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on hotel equipment and respond promptly to maintenance work orders and guest repair requests. You will work closely with the Housekeeping and Front Office teams to support guest satisfaction and enhance communication between departments. You will greet guests warmly in public areas, assist with guest concerns when needed, and take appropriate service recovery measures when required. Additionally, you will participate in required training, help coordinate safety training, perform Person-In-Charge (PIC) hotel training, follow emergency procedures, maintain confidentiality of guest information, adhere to key control and lost-and-found procedures, and help maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment for guests and staff.
