Job summary

Ivy Hospitality seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure hotel operations run smoothly by maintaining facilities, addressing repairs, and supporting preventative maintenance. The role partners with all departments to uphold quality and service excellence, ensuring a safe and welcoming guest environment.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance across areas, repairing plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, and aiding with pool operations while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance across public areas, guest rooms, meeting spaces, back-of-house facilities, and grounds.
• Repair guest room amenities including TVs, phones, fixtures, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs and daily equipment checks.
• Repair interiors (painting, furniture fixes, carpet/tile) to maintain aesthetics.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen, laundry, and housekeeping equipment as needed.
• Maintain exteriors, landscaping, and parking areas to reflect a professional image.
• Assist with pool operations and ensure safety regulations compliance (CPO certification preferred).
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize guest downtime; monitor safety systems and security measures.
• Handle and secure master keys; support team during emergencies.
• Document maintenance activities; keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
• Participate in safety and fire emergency programs.
• Ensure courteous and professional guest interactions; align with company standards.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
