Job summary

Hyatt Place Flushing/LaGuardia Airport Hotel is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure proper functioning, safety, and efficiency of all facilities and systems. You will perform proactive maintenance and respond to maintenance requests to minimize downtime and protect guest experience.

Experience with Hyatt's BOB platform is preferred but not required. This role reports to the Chief Engineer / Director of Engineering and requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance engineer in hotel or hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and refrigeration.
• Experience with maintenance management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on hotel systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules to reduce outages and repairs.
