Job summary

Ascent Hospitality Management operates a DoubleTree by Hilton property in Montgomery and seeks a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day engineering and maintenance. You will ensure guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, equipment, and systems are maintained to a high standard and coordinate with the Chief Engineer and General Manager for planned work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel maintenance, engineering, facilities, building maintenance, or related field.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and general building systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
• Comfort with hand and power tools and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support daily activities of the hotel Engineering and Maintenance team.
• Assign and prioritize maintenance work orders and preventative tasks.
• Perform and oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and building maintenance.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, back-of-house areas, and exteriors.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and coordinate repairs.
• Monitor work orders, maintenance schedules, and documentation.
• Coordinate vendor repairs and outside service calls when needed.
• Train, coach, and develop maintenance staff on proper procedures and safety.
