Hyatt Regency Dallas seeks a skilled Mechanic to join our Engineering team. This role supports shift coverage and requires strong troubleshooting across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front/back of house areas, including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of building maintenance experience, hotel experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of major building systems, including life-safety systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; basic troubleshooting skills.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide shift coverage and perform maintenance in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front/back of house areas.
• Maintain front-of-house and back-of-house systems including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC.
• Perform preventative maintenance on major equipment and systems using a Windows-based system.
