Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dallas is seeking a Shift Engineer to join our renowned Engineering team. You will perform general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front-of-house areas, plus back-of-house systems including kitchen and HVAC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of building maintenance experience, hotel experience preferred.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read blue prints and schematics and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front-of-house areas.
• Also cover back-of-house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on major equipment using a Windows-based computer system.

The Shift Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest room, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of the house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. The Shift Engineer will also perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems by using a windows-based computer system.

Qualifications
