Job description

About the Role

Complete Building Services is a facility management company partnering with major hotel brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Holiday Inn, and Cambria. We are hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to support the operation and maintenance of our partner hotels. This position is located in Charlottesville, VA.

In this role, you are eligible for overtime. As a CBS Hotel Maintenance Mechanic, you must be able to:

• Perform preventative mechanical maintenance, including changing belts and greasing motors
• Maintain tours and logs; possess knowledge about the equipment room
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, drywalling, and light repairs

Work schedule: Will require weekends and nights; you will work on a swing shift with teammates. Shift hours are from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

Salary is based on experience, your ability to fix issues on day one, and your licenses and certifications (e.g., CFC).

You should have:

• Availability to work all shifts
• On-call availability 24/7
• Basic coursework in electrical and HVAC systems
• Universal CFC/R-410A certification
• Prior hotel experience is a plus
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Capability to ascend ladders up to 30 feet
• Excellent customer service skills
