Job summary

DelMonte Hotel Group is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Manager to lead the Engineering Department at our Beachwood, OH property. You will supervise staff, coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure guest comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate brings 2–4 years in engineering/maintenance, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment. This on-site role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years related experience in engineering and maintenance.
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to manage / supervise a staff.
• Ability to work as part of a team and complete tasks individually.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise associates in the Engineering Department and carry out supervisory responsibilities.
• Interview, hire, and train associates; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance.
• Trouble shoot and repair HVAC, fire suppression system, boilers/chillers, guest internet/TV and related wiring.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule for all public spaces, guest rooms and equipment.
• Train Engineering and Front Office staff on sprinkler and fire alarm procedures.
• Assist with outdoor seasonal work and participate in safety training.
