Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: More than two years of post-high school education, but less than a degree from a 4-year college.
• Experience: Four to five years in a related position with this company or others.
• Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of Building Management/Engineering.
• Analytical: Ability to analyze activities and information to draw logical conclusions.
• Management: Requires management skills and ability to communicate with hotel management and guests.

Responsibilities

• Execute repairs and maintenance across plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, painting and building upkeep.
• Develop and manage the division’s budget, capital expenditures, forecasts and objectives.
• Negotiate maintenance contracts for the hotel, grounds and equipment in compliance with standards and codes.
• Develop and direct emergency programs, inspections, drills, and training for a safe environment.
• Develop and manage an energy conservation program to minimize expenses.
