Job Description

The Westin Dallas Downtown is seeking a Part-Time AM or PM Hotel Maintenance Engineer responsible for maintaining the hotel's physical plant and equipment. This includes performing routine maintenance and repairs, as well as responding to emergency situations. The Maintenance Engineer must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must communicate effectively with hotel staff and guests.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Respond to emergency situations, such as power outages, floods, and fire alarms.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and hotel policies.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in hotel maintenance or a related field.
