Job summary

Wyndham San Diego Bayside, located in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain building systems and the building envelope for guest safety and comfort. This on-site role requires hands-on maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry areas with a focus on energy efficiency and preventative care.

The ideal candidate has vocational training or experience in building trades, and hotel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling, military training, certification and/or experience in building related trades.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or similar environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all building systems and the building envelope for guest safety and comfort.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
• Assist with repairs and minor replacements of hotel equipment and fixtures.
• Service pools and outdoor areas and keep logs of maintenance work orders.
