Job summary

Avion Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to help operate, maintain, and repair hotel equipment while supporting the preventative maintenance program. You may perform carpentry, painting, plumbing and related repairs, and occasionally drive a shuttle as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, trade license preference, and a valid driver's license with acceptable MVR. Experience in a hotel environment is preferred and you must pass background checks where required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
• Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) property specific.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms and equipment.
• Address alarms and report findings to Front Desk.
• Complete tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Follow safety practices in all maintenance activities.
