Job summary

Residence Inn Waco South by Aimbridge Hospitality seeks a Maintenance Engineer to keep guest rooms and public areas running smoothly. You will service HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and tackle repairs to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for guests and colleagues.

The role requires a High School diploma (or equivalent) and likely a trade license; a valid driver’s license and prior hotel maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Trade license (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) is highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license required, with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance in guest rooms, common areas, and on essential equipment.
• Inspect, repair, and fine-tune HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Address emergencies like fire alarms and power outages with safety first.
