A&R Group in Daphne, AL is seeking an Engineer I – Be the Fix-It Hero! This full-time role is in Engineering & Maintenance and involves maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues, monitor building systems (HVAC, lighting, elevators), and perform preventive maintenance. Strong hotel/facility experience and teamwork are essential. Lifts up to 50 lbs and varied shifts required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel or facility maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of general building systems (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC).
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, safety instructions, and equipment guides.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues.
• Monitor and operate building systems (HVAC, lighting, elevators, etc.).
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to service requests.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in work areas.
• Assist in emergency situations (power outages, water leaks).
• Support special projects or renovations as directed by management.
