Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
• Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) property specific.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms (light bulbs, minor repairs, caulking, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance for ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC, guestrooms, meeting rooms, pool and spa.
• Perform plumbing repair, laundry equipment repair, and maintenance on exhaust fans and supply; monitor energy use.
• Investigate alarms and report findings to the Front Desk to determine emergency status.
• Follow up on other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
