Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in New York seeks an energetic, experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This role involves hands-on maintenance of hotel grounds, guest rooms, and public areas, with a focus on reliable operations and guest comfort.

You will conduct preventative maintenance, check fixtures and systems, and respond to maintenance orders promptly; the company offers daily pay, health and life insurance options, a 401(k) plan, PTO, and ongoing career development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred.
• One year of college or trade school in mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
• Perform various other duties as assigned

Education
