Job summary

InnVentures is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for Residence Inn Downtown Seattle Lake Union. You will perform repairs and preventative maintenance on HVAC, furniture, appliances and plumbing, while ensuring guest comfort and safety in a hotel setting.

The role requires basic communication skills, ability to stand and move for long shifts, and weekend/holiday availability. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), vacation, and more; position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in a hotel or property management setting.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift.
• Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on PTAC/HVAC equipment, furniture/cabinetry, appliances, light fixtures and plumbing.
• Perform interior and exterior painting, landscaping and parking lot repairs.
• Troubleshoot devices such as key card systems, internet equipment and television equipment.
• Execute routine safety inspections and report/repair issues with equipment or systems.
• Respond to all guest requests with a sense of urgency and service mindset.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
