Job summary

TownePlace Suites McKinney Hotel is seeking a full-time Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. You will respond to service calls, report emergencies, and ensure guest safety while maintaining brand standards and safety regulations.

You will collaborate with housekeeping and front desk teams, address guest maintenance requests promptly, and help keep the property in excellent condition through proactive inspections

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance or facilities management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform repairs.
• Excellent communication and guest-service orientation.
• Physical ability to perform demanding maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Conduct routine inspections and identify issues before they impact operations.
• Respond to maintenance service calls and emergencies; report hazards to management.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk to minimize guest disruption.
• Address guest maintenance requests promptly and professionally; maintain safety protocols.
