The role involves room inspections, wall repairs, painting, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC maintenance, and record-keeping to ensure codes and guest satisfaction are met. Shifts may vary, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Trade school coursework in a related field is desirable.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles, bulbs and fixtures.
• Repair furniture.
• Install, replace and program televisions.
• Perform minor plumbing functions.
• Replace and repair heating and cooling pumps and perform preventive maintenance on units.
• Trace and repair water lines and troubleshoot kitchen equipment.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Ensure work complies with local, state, and Federal codes.
• Support guest satisfaction by aiding in service recovery and maintaining safety standards.
