Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for the Marriott Nashville Airport to maintain hotel facilities and guest rooms. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect fixtures, respond to orders, and ensure smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in hotel maintenance, HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, and strong communication skills. The employer offers health options, 401k, PTO, daily pay, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred.
• One year of college or trade school equivalent in mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs.
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner.
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner.
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.
