Job summary

LVSM HOLDINGS LLC is seeking a dependable Hotel Maintenance Engineer to keep guest rooms, public areas, and equipment in safe, working condition.

The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with flexible scheduling across all shifts, and starting pay of $17.00 per hour. The ideal candidate is hands-on, able to work independently, and able to respond to maintenance needs across the property.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel and guest rooms.
• Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and facilities for issues.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall repairs.
• Replace bulbs, fixtures, filters, batteries, and other maintenance supplies.
• Assist with preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems running.
• Maintain appearance and condition of the property.
• Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment organized.
• Assist with pool, laundry, mechanical equipment as needed.
• Complete work orders and communicate issues to management.
• Respond to emergencies and urgent maintenance as needed.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour
Full-Time – 40 Hours Per Week
Schedule: Flexible / All Shifts

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for keeping the hotel, guest rooms, equipment, and common areas in safe and working condition.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, flexible, and able to work independently. Hotel maintenance can be unpredictable, so the ability to prioritize tasks and respond to maintenance needs throughout the property is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel and guest rooms
• Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and hotel facilities for maintenance issues
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, and general repair work
• Replace light bulbs, fixtures, filters, batteries, and other maintenance supplies
• Assist with preventative maintenance to help keep hotel equipment and systems operating properly
• Maintain the appearance and condition of the hotel property
• Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized
• Assist with pool, laundry, mechanical, and other hotel equipment as needed
• Complete work orders and communicate ongoing maintenance issues to management
• Respond to emergencies and urgent maintenance situations when necessary
• Follow all hotel safety procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic
• Must be flexible with scheduling and available to work any shift, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to work approximately 40 hours per week
• Must be comfortable being on your feet and constantly moving throughout the workday
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to climb stairs, bend, kneel, reach, stand, walk, and work in various positions for extended periods
• Must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of general building maintenance and repairs preferred
• Previous hotel maintenance or commercial maintenance experience is preferred but not required
• Must be able to communicate professionally with guests and coworkers
