Job summary

Shivaay Group LLC is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for in-person hotel maintenance in Alabama. The role focuses on keeping the property in top condition, handling plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks, and ensuring a smooth guest experience.

The candidate will conduct inspections, respond to guest requests, manage supplies, and collaborate with other departments to uphold safety and quality standards. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and guest service orientation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify issues.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance.
• Maintain inventory of repair supplies and equipment.
• Assist in setup and maintenance of hotel amenities and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• The duties required while performing this job are the ability to see, hear, reach, stand, stoop, bend, and crouch up to 8 hours on a daily basis.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• During your daily shift you will be required to stand, move, walk, bend and stoop regularly.

Requirements

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be available to work any day of the week and work early morning schedules.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of hotel/Apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Willing to do heavy lifting.
• Must be willing to go under background check.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Working in a hotel, you must be comfortable working with other individuals in a shared opened space.
• No set deadlines, as duties and tasks can change daily. You must be able to prioritize your day based on the tasks provided and open to changes or additions to your job each day.
• Must be able to work well with others.
• Remaining customer friendly and professional throughout your work day.
• Hours and scheduling will vary from week-to-week basis and no amount of hours is guaranteed. This will be based on demand of business.
