Job summary

Buffalo Lodging Associates is seeking a Laundry Attendant for Hampton Inn & Suites Buffalo - Downtown to maintain a steady supply of clean linens and towels for the hotel. You will operate laundering machines, inspect linen, and ensure proper storage while tracking stock and notifying the supervisor of needs.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, strong customer service skills, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Ability to stand all shift and lift 25–50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for 8 hour shift
• Able to lift 25 to 50 lbs loading linen into machines

Responsibilities

• Tends laundering machines to clean articles, such as sheets, towels and other linen.
• Inspects linen to locate stained or torn items. Records counts for discarded linen.
• Folds, stacks and places towels, sheets and other linen in appropriate storage bins.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
