Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking an Laundry Attendant to ensure efficient retrieval, processing, and distribution of laundry for hotel guests. The role operates in a 24/7 environment with flexible shift times.

You will sort, rewash or discard items, operate ironing/folding machines, fold items by type and size, and maintain cleanliness and inventory. This position emphasizes safety, proper chemical use, and adherence to company procedures.

Qualifications

• All combinations of education and experience acceptable.
• No previous experience required.

Responsibilities

• Sort stained/damaged items and determine status for rewash or discard.
• Operate ironing and folder machines according to specifications.
• Fold cleaned articles and stack by type and size.
• Remove lint and debris from dryer filters.
• Use cleaning chemicals according to OSHA regulations.
• Check operating condition of laundry machinery.
• Monitor chemical and water usage to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Restock work areas for next shift.
• Turn in lost and found items and guest room keys.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions and accidents promptly.
• Maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Assist other housekeeping staff as needed.
