Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Lebanon, a Colwen Hotels Property, seeks a detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to wash, dry, fold, and treat stains while supporting the housekeeping team with linen and supplies.

The role involves operating laundry equipment, maintaining stock areas, and ensuring cleanliness of the laundry room. On-site, full-time with a 7-day rotation including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cleaner or laundry attendant, hotel experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to perform high-quality, consistent work.
• Ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant and friendly way.
• Strong prioritization and time management skills.
• Willingness to work rotational 7-day work cycle; including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the cleaning process of hotel linens according to Colwen and brand standards.
• Wash, dry, and fold hotel linens and towels; treat stains to minimize loss.
• Store, inventory, issue, and distribute hotel linens.
• Operate washing and drying equipment; load/unload laundry.
• Measure and apply cleaning agents as per product specifications.
• Inspect used laundry for stains and repairs before washing.
• Monitor washer feeder information and report irregularities.
• Set the proper drying times for various types of linen.
• Fold laundry; count and assemble laundered items.
• Maintain clean and organized laundry room and stock areas.
