Job summary

Evans Hotels in San Diego, CA is seeking an experienced Laundry Equipment Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial laundry gear, including electronic controls, pumps and gear drives.

You will work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, electrical components, and motors, with an emphasis on safe, reliable operation. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3–12 months of relevant experience or training.
• Previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
• Ability to maintain a friendly, professional demeanor under stress.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electronic control systems, electrical relays, and power sources.
• Troubleshoots and repairs combustion systems.
• Maintains orderly condition of the assigned work area.
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
