Job summary

Aloft Mooresville Lake Norman is seeking a diligent Laundry Attendant to ensure linens and guest laundry meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will operate industrial laundry equipment, inspect items, and support housekeeping to maintain smooth operations in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic English communication skills, and the stamina to work in a warm environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in laundry operations preferred.
• Technical knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and stain removal.
• Attention to detail to identify stains and quality issues.
• Able to stand, lift up to 30 lbs and work in warm conditions.

Responsibilities

• Sort, classify, and process hotel linens, uniforms, towels according to guidelines.
• Operate industrial washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely.
• Identify and treat stains prior to laundering.
• Fold, stack, and package laundered items to hotel standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory of linens and laundry supplies; report shortages.
• Inspect laundered items to meet quality standards and repair as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and report equipment issues.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams; assist in peak times.
• Follow hotel policies including handling of lost and found and sanitation standards.
