The Briad Group in Poughkeepsie, NY is hiring a Hotel Laundry Attendant for Homewood Suites by Hilton. You will responsibly launder and dry linens, maintain clean work areas, and support daily hotel operations in a fast-paced environment.

As a Laundry Attendant, you will ensure quality of laundered items, operate laundry equipment safely, and report equipment or supply needs to the supervisor. The role offers advancement opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Duties of laundry operations and safety awareness.
• Attention to detail in linen and towel handling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully use laundry equipment to safely and thoroughly clean linens, and keep work area clean and safe
• Help ensure laundry operations run smoothly by alerting the supervisor when equipment stops working properly, if supplies are needed and when linen is damaged
• Clean dryer filter daily and maintain all equipment as trained
• Operate iron as per standard and ensure that it is shut off at the end of day.
• Always practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guests and fellow employees
• Perform other duties as assigned
