The Briad Group's Homewood Suites by Hilton in Southington, CT is hiring a Laundry Attendant. You will clean linens and towels to exacting standards and maintain a tidy work area, delivering guest-ready items with pride.

You will operate laundry equipment, monitor for equipment issues, and follow safety protocols. Advancement opportunities are available through internal promotion and you’ll join a lively team with competitive wages.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Clear communication of information and ideas.
• Work well in high pressure situations.
• Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
• Medium work - lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully use laundry equipment to safely and thoroughly clean linens, and keep work area clean and safe
• Notify supervisor when equipment stops working, supplies needed, or linen is damaged
• Clean dryer filter daily and maintain equipment as trained
• Operate iron as per standard and ensure that it is shut off at the end of day
• Always practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guests and fellow employees
• Perform other duties as assigned
