Brandt Holdings Co in Fargo, North Dakota is looking for a Laundry Attendant responsible for using laundering machines to provide clean linens, towels, and rags for guests. This role requires great attention to detail and the ability to follow a routine.

The ideal candidate will perform all stages of laundering, ensure laundry quality, maintain cleanliness, and respond to guest service issues. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and hotel discounts.

Responsabilidades

• Perform all stages of laundering process including collecting, transporting, sorting, loading, and unloading.
• Ensure linens are laundered to standards set forth by hotel management.
• Iron and press linens, as necessary.
• Inspect linen regularly for tears, holes, or sub-standard conditions.
• Handle contaminated articles per company and OSHA standards.
• Maintain clean laundry room and facilities.
• Maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies and linen.
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely and friendly manner.

Conocimientos

Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations and procedures

Knowledge of proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals

General knowledge of equipment such as vacuums, commercial washers and dryers

Able to understand and speak some of the English language

Able to prioritize work assignments

Demonstrate genuine care for customers and employees

Able to work in a fast paced environment

Able to stand for the majority of shift
