Job summary

PAH Management in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Cook - Hourly to prepare high-quality meals in hotel kitchen operations, including restaurant, breakfast, room service, banquet, and events. You will follow standardized recipes, maintain safety standards, and support a clean, organized kitchen.

This full-time, on-site role requires basic food prep knowledge and ability to operate commercial equipment, with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety.
• Food Handler certification may be required by regulations.
• Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment.
• Effective communication with team and supervisory staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to recipes and brand standards.
• Prepare food for hotel restaurants, breakfast service, room service, banquets, and events.
• Maintain quality and presentation; monitor and address guest satisfaction issues.
• Set up and stock workstations; rotate stock using FIFO methods.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food deliveries.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and health department regulations; keep the kitchen clean.
