Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is recruiting for an HVAC Engineer at OKANA Resort & Indoor Water Park in Oklahoma City. The role centers on operating and maintaining HVAC systems across guest rooms, public areas, and event spaces.

You will work with leadership to plan major repairs and ensure safe, efficient environmental control. Candidates should have at least 5 years of hotel/resort HVAC experience, strong technical HVAC knowledge, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma; college and/or Building & Mechanical certifications preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a full-service hotel or resort.
  • Read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
  • Strong technical skills in HVAC systems.
  • Familiar with chillers, cooling towers, etc.; pneumatics, control systems, water systems, boilers, refrigeration, compressors.
  • Universal CFC certification preferred; other certifications welcome.
  • Certifications/licenses as required by local/state jurisdictions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software programs.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with the Director of Engineering on all engineering operations.
  • Inspect and document physical plant, equipment, hazards, systems and operations.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas; report unsafe conditions.
  • Inspect and adjust systems daily; respond to life-safety alarms.
  • Inspect and repair HVAC equipment including air handlers, chillers, boilers, controls per SOPs.
