Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a housekeeping associate to maintain clean, orderly public spaces and assist with room turnover. You will respond to guest requests promptly and handle linen and guest laundry as directed.

The role includes delivering supplies, following safety procedures, operating laundry/equipment, and assisting with recycling programs in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is important.

Responsibilities

• Operate laundry and cleaning equipment and manage storage areas.

Compensation Amount:16.00 USD HourlyJob Summary:Maintains clean, orderly and attractive all public space within the unit and responds to guest’s requests in an efficient and pleasant manner. Supports the room turnover flow in the housekeeping department. Is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the facility’s linens and guests’ laundry as directed.Job Description:ESSENTIAL FUNTIONSPick up dirty linen and trash form guestrooms in order to speed up Housekeeping operation.Clear dirty linen and trash from hallways.Ensure assigned areas are clean and neat as directed by management.Deliver requested items, such as pillows, rollaways, cribs, microwaves… to guestrooms as directed.Deliver supplies to assigned areas of facility.Follow biohazard, safety, general clean room and quarterly mattress rotation procedures.Vacuums all halls, lobbies and edges.Perform laundry duties as directed by management.Replaces chemicals in the laundry area.Organizes and distribute all housekeeping deliveries.Collect amenities for Clean the World reuse of amenities program.Clean and organizes housekeeping storage areas.Communicates supervisor about amenities and chemical usage in order to improve financial control.Collect and track recycle in order to improve our recycling practices.SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDEPartial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D equivalent preferred.Strong sanitation habits.Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.Ability to multitask and prioritize when receiving many requests during a work shift.Logistic and storage organization knowledge.PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTSMoving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit.
