Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Northeast Wichita is seeking a dependable Houseman to join our housekeeping team. You will help prepare guest rooms, deliver linens, and maintain cleanliness across public and back-of-house areas to meet hotel standards.

The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and a positive guest experience in a fast-paced hotel environment. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping preferred but not required.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, push, and lift during shift.
• Strong guest-service mindset and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist housekeeping staff with daily cleaning and room preparation.
• Deliver clean linens, towels, and supplies to guest rooms and areas.
• Collect and transport dirty linens, towels, and trash.
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, public areas, and storage spaces.
• Support with moving furniture, carts, and equipment as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and report maintenance issues.
