Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is required.
• Experience in supervision or leading a team is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hotel cleaning procedures and standards.
• Ability to inspect rooms and identify cleanliness and maintenance issues.
• Ability to train, coach, and supervise housekeeping staff.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities are essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with teams.
• Ability to work independently and make operational decisions.
• Experience in a fast-paced hotel environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of housekeeping staff (room attendants, housepersons, laundry attendants, and others).
• Assign rooms and tasks based on occupancy and operational needs.
• Inspect guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Ensure rooms meet brand and hotel standards before release for sale.
• Monitor room status and communicate updates to Front Desk and management.
• Assist with cleaning during high occupancy or staffing shortages.
• Lead, coach, and motivate staff to maintain high performance.
• Train new staff on procedures, equipment, safety, and standards.
• Maintain safety and compliance with policies and regulations.
